In celebration of the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Santuario Eucaristico successfully concluded it’s Flores de Mayo 2017 Culminating Mass and Activity last May 31, 2017.

While some people enjoy the view of Palm Tress and ocean breeze in beautiful beaches around the country, others dedicate their time and passion in assisting and teaching children attending the Flores de Mayo Activities daily in our parish. Each day, children spend 2-3 hours of their time learning about our faith. This year, we gathered around 60 volunteers and 200 children from all around the parish.

At 7:30am, we had a Novena Prayer, Holy Rosary and offering of the AVE MARIA letters and flowers to the Blessed Virgin Mary followed by the Eucharistic Celebration presided by our parish priest Fr. Froilan Renato A. Briones, SSS. It was with joy that all the children participated fully during the celebration through singing.

The Culminating Program proper started right after the celebration of the mass. All the children gathered outside and showcased their talents through presentations per area. Students were also rewarded with the gift of school supplies and ribbons for their attitude and performance during the month-long classes. During the program, we also gave thanks to the parents of the children who supported our Flores de Mayo program throughout the month.

A simple act of kindness can make a tremendous impact on a person’s life. With this, we thank all our volunteer catechists and sponsors for the success of our Flores de Mayo 2017 activity. Praise be Jesus and Mary!
