Every year, we journey 365-366 days of service and commitment to our Christian faith. We celebrate different seasons, do programs and other occassions that we planned for our Parish and Shrine. This year, as we start the year 2017, we had our 6th Parish Lay Collaborator’s Night and Thanksgiving Party last January 13, 2016 at Country Village Hotel in gratitude to the love, service and commitment our collaborators had dedicated to Santuario Eucaristico for the year 2016.

For the sixth time now, we celebrated the gift of persons and volunteers in our parish. The community members of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament are truly grateful for having committed collaborators which give more life to our parish every year. In Fr. Clifford’s welcome message, he said that all volunteers are what gives life to the Parish. He also correlated them as the “City of Stars” from the movie “La La Land” which meant that they are instruments in sharing the light of Christ to others. The rest of the program included early bird awards given to 50 early volunteers, a raffle and series of presentations from different organizations.

As we genuinely appreciate and value their commitment of time to volunteering, we showed our thanksgiving by giving a Certificate of Appreciation to each of the organizations and ministries. We also bid farewell to Rev. Marc Bryan Adona, SSS who is leaving in preparation for his ordination in Sta. Cruz Church on February 4, 2017 in Manila. By the end of the program, a Thank You speech was given by Fr. Froilan where he quoted: “Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.- Sherry Anderson”,

We thank God for the gift of priceless volunteers here in Santuario Eucaristico. Our prayers are always with you all!
