Pahalipay sa Pasko 2017
In every Christmas Season, we celebrate the Love of God through Christmas celebrations and good deeds that lifts the heart with Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.
As our parish envisions to extend our tables to our less fortunate brothers and sisters this Christmas Season, Santuario Eucaristico – Sacred Heart Parish in partnership with its parish volunteers and sponsors, once again conducted the Annual gift-giving program called “Pahalipay sa Pasko” to our less fortunate brothers and sisters last December 28, 2017.
Each year, we start our parish fundraising on the First Sunday of Advent until after Christmas Day. We, together with Fr. Froilan R. A. Briones, SSS, Fr. Muriel A. Uy, SSS and Fr. Clifford B. Barrios, SSS and parish coordinators and volunteers, visited six (6) areas under the canonical jurisdiction of the parish and distributed goods for 500 families from Binonoan, Oro Chain, and other Zone 2 Carmen Areas, Agoho Drive, San Roque and St. Joseph Chapel Areas. We also welcomed walk-ins in the parish. These are selected indigent families who are mostly affected by the tropical storm Vinta last December 21, 2017. Each family received 2 kilos of rice and a grocery package.
The parish would like to thank all our generous sponsors for sharing their blessings and being part of this annual gift-giving. What mattered most in the end is not just the goods we share but the love and joy that we extended to the people we less know. These little acts goodness lit the fire of love and happiness in their hearts in this very season of love. Once again, thank you for sharing the Love of God to others. It is truly a Blessed and Grace-filled New Year to us all!
