This year, after a month-long Flores de Mayo activity, the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary brings the successful Flores de Mayo Culmination of Santuario Eucaristico through a Eucharistic Celebration and Culmination Program last May 31, 2018.

The month of May allows us to give honor and homage that is proper to a woman who has chosen to be the Mother of the Savior. It is a time to show appreciation that our devotion to the Blessed Virgin is a necessary part of our Christian worship. In this year’s Flores de Mayo, the daily activities were done by four (4) of our areas of the parish, namely: Oro Chain, St. Joseph and San Roque Chapels and Calamansi Drive, Agoho. Together with the assigned Catechists and youth volunteers in each area, children had their catechesis, an offering of the AVE MARIA letters and flowers to Mama Mary, games and other activities, and, most especially children were taught how to pray the Holy Rosary. Recognition followed two days before the culmination, each child was given an award/ribbons and school supplies.

By the grace of God, we reach the final end of this month’s activity in celebration of the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We had our Holy Rosary, an offering of AVE MARIA letters and flowers. At exactly 8:00am we had our celebration of the Holy Eucharist presided by our parish priest, Rev. Fr. Froilan Renato A. Briones, SSS. There were about 225 children, 42 youth assistants, and 15 catechists with the presence of Fr. Clifford Barrios, SSS, and two brothers: Br. Victor Clemence Posadas, SSS and Br. Michael Ian Abad, SSS in our “Salo-Salo” at McDonalds Highway Kauswagan. It was indeed a joyful end of the activity.

Mary, through her example and intercession, helps us become more caring in love and more generous in service. Our deepest gratitude to all our volunteers, sponsors and for all those who become instruments for the success of this whole month activity. With our Mother Mary, your support, and willingness to share, inspires us to soar higher, on to the heights of true Christian love. Ad Jesum Per Mariam! (To Jesus through Mary).
